Ferenc Sajdik's pencil (tustolla) starts on the white field of paper, and the naughty lines suddenly reveal the world of the eighteen hundreds, old lads and ladies, soldiers in silk, deceitful young ladies, drop sawyers and illustrious lords, literary greats, casino-playing officers, murderous magistrates, unruly students, cafés and ballrooms, the railway to Vác... And in this world, the poet who pops up here and there.
