A rendezvény fő célja a halételek népszerűsítése, amiket az érdeklődők meg is kóstolhatnak. Az Agrárminisztérium és a MOHOSZ támogatásának köszönhetően a halas ételeken kívül kulturális, gyermekprogramok várják majd a kedves érdeklődőket, a belépés ingyenes.
