Vác City Swimming Pool and Beach
The Vác beach is located in the city center, within walking distance of the main square, close to the Danube bank and the waterfront promenades. The beach, which can accommodate 800 people, provides a refreshing relaxation on hot summer days after a cozy sightseeing tour of Vác.
A great favorite of the children is the playground and the 29-degree open paddling pool, but the 27-degree, "L-shaped" beach pool also promises a pleasant bathing for the whole family. On the beach there are shady and sunny parts, and of course there are several buffets.
Small train sightseeing in Vác
Children will surely be happy to get to know Vác during a small train tour of the city, all the more so because sitting on the small train is perhaps an even more exciting experience to explore the most beautiful parts of Vác.
From the train you can wave to the waterfront promenades of Vác, the famous buildings of the city and, of course, from the fountain on the main square you can admire the Church of the Whites and the ruins of the Church of St. Michael.
The small train runs on a regular schedule from April to the end of October, every day from 10 am to 5 pm, every whole hour departs, from a minimum of 4 people.
