The waterfront promenade is a great place for a family walk, children can even ride their bikes or rollerblade along the promenades, while the legendary panorama of the Danube is the backdrop.

Vác City Swimming Pool and Beach
The beach of Vác is located in the city centre, within walking distance of the main square, close to the Danube and the waterfront promenades. With a capacity for 800 people, the beach is a refreshing place to relax on hot summer days after a pleasant day of sightseeing in Vác.
Children will love the playground and the 29-degree open-air paddling pool, but the 27-degree "L-shaped" beach pool is also a delight for the whole family. The beach alternates between shaded and sunny areas and, of course, there are several snack bars.
Sightseeing tour in Vác by small train
Children will love to get to know Vác on a sightseeing tour by train, especially as it is perhaps even more exciting to discover the most beautiful parts of Vác while on board.
From the train you can wave at Vác's waterfront promenades, the city's landmark buildings and, of course, admire the ruins of the Church of the Whites and the Church of St Michael from the main square fountain.
The minibus runs from April to the end of October, every day from 10 am to 5 pm, departing every hour on the hour, with a minimum of 4 passengers. Along the way you'll be greeted by a host of restaurants and patisseries, so don't forget to take the family to one or two for a little gastronomic adventure.

Sports activities for the whole family
With children, a trip to Vác is really exciting if you include active leisure activities alongside sightseeing.

You and your family would love to test the go-kart track in Vác? Go-karting is a timeless fun, you can try racing on the outdoor track with a children's, adult, two-seater and competition go-kart, on real asphalt.
On the southern part of the Danube bank of Vác, next to the cycle path, you will find the pump track, which can be used for a variety of sports equipment, including skateboards, scooters and roller skates. Put yourself to the test on the pump track kids, and and amateurs!

From May to September you can join us at Code27 Jetski Club & Plaza for a truly adrenaline-fuelled insight into the world of jet skiing. Qualified instructors are waiting to welcome you from the age of 8 and up. The lakeside is not only for jet skiing, but also for beach football, beach volleyball and paddling.
