The mansion in Horpács was built in 1906, based on the plans of Mikszáth Kálmán Mikszáth and his son. You can see the rooms and other rooms with the writer's utensils, and his manuscripts are on display. The building also houses an exhibition of literary history to mark the 150th anniversary of the writer's birth. The park of the Mikszáth Memorial Museum is now a nature reserve, home to numerous protected plants. In front of the building is a statue of Mikszáth, and in the garden is a portrait of Mikszáth Kálmán and his wife - Mikszáth Jr. István Szabó's work.

The Mikszáth Kálmán Memorial Museum in the Mikszáth Memorial House brings the writer's life to life. In the furnished rooms, along with the furniture he once used, original documents, manuscripts and family photos can be seen.
The mansion, built in 1906 in Horpács, was designed by Mikszáth Kálmán, son of Mikszáth Kálmán, and is still on display today.
The rooms and common rooms, including the writer's utensils, manuscripts and other memorabilia, can be visited as a traditional exhibit. The park of the Mikszáth Memorial Museum, full of protected plants, is now a nature reserve. The building also houses a literary history exhibition, which was inaugurated on the 150th anniversary of the writer's birth. You can see documents about his life, photos of the family, furniture, objects and memorabilia of the people who lived here.
