Church of the Whites
The main square of Vác is a special attraction in the Danube bend, all the more so because it is the only triangular-shaped baroque main square in Hungary. It is the site of the Church of the Whites, named after the white habit of the monks of the Order of the Dominicans. The exterior of the church is modest, but the interior decoration is very rich, the church was built in the 18th century in the Baroque, Rococo style. In summer, many weddings are held in the church, which is also a famous attraction in Vác because it is the site where the Vác Mummies, a legendary and particularly valuable archaeological artefact, were discovered.
